Battery operated instrument with auto power off. Instructions for use are printed on rear face and it is suitable for use either in the classroom or for outside projects.
Complete with internal high sensitivity GM tube to detect high energy Alpha, Beta and Gamma radiation. Provides adjustable voltage up to 500V.DC. for the GM tube.
All functions of voltage setting, continuous counting, total counts over 10, 60 or 100 sec. and rate of counts per second or per minute are set by press buttons. Audible ‘clicks’ can be muted. Uses 3x ‘AA’ batteries.
