STEAM ENGINES : MODEL D18 (WILESCO, GERMANY)

The WILESCO Steam Engines- Model D12 & D18 are very practical apparatus to demonstrate energy conversion experiments in science education. These durable machines meet safety standard and valid mandatory requirements respectively. It also has a glass window on the boiler to view the water level and a steam whistle is incorporated to release steam pressure.

The D18 model is more advanced by demonstrating how steam pressure is transformed to mechanical and electrical energy. It also has a pressure gauge and ‘cutout’ valve as additional features. A motor generator is mounted on the base with spring connection to a flywheel. A lamp is installed on a mounted lamp post structure.
